2face Idibia Donates N10 Million To Fight Coronavirus Video
Innocent Ujah Idibia — popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba — is joining the fight against the coronavirus pandemic … by pledging N10 million to help those in need.
The legendary Nigerian singer and philanthropist shared the news Wednesday, telling his followers he will be making the donation together with New Trophy Extra Special Stout, a brand from International Breweries Plc.
“Remember, in times like this, we stand as ONE. ONE love,” part of his message reads on Instagram.
The “African Queen” singer also announced there will be the Extra Special E-Concert on April 12, 2020, the first of its kind in Nigeria, to support the cause to minimise social gatherings.
The 44-year-old explained that the idea of the E-Concert is for him to lend his voice and call on Nigerians to come together to combat the global COVID-19 pandemic by heeding the stay-at-home request from the government.
The E-Concert, for him, will provide a moment of hope and comfort to everybody in this trying time.
He called on other celebrities, business personnel, and corporate organisations to support in combating the spread of the virus in any way they can.
